The luxuriant rainforest that surrounds the Pacuare Lodge is a private reserve that forms part of the largest network of protected areas in Central America, covering more than 1.2 million acres of tropical wilderness.
Today after breakfast you will have a private transfer to Pacuare’s put in to start your rafting adventure.

This is an experience as no other! You will face the exotic beauty of the rainforest head on, feeling the adrenaline of dramatic views, rappelling down towering trees and sliding along cables from tree to tree as you descend the jungle cloaked mountain toward the Pacuare Lodge for a final thrilling rappel that leaves you just steps away from our main lodge! You will experience this excitement secure in the knowledge that you are safely anchored with a safety harness, providing a unique experience that no other tour of this type offers. Two hours of unforgettable adventure in the tree tops! You will end your adventure at The Nest - : a platform 20 meters (60 feet) high in a treetop, where guests can enjoy a snack and beverages in a uniquely splendid setting. The culinary adventure begins as you glide down a 130-meter cable to the platform high in the branches of a Ceiba: a tree that was sacred to the ancient Mayans.
In the morning you’ll awaken to the harmonious melody of the rushing river and the sweet songs of a myriad of tropical birds. After a delicious buffet breakfast, we’ll launch the rafts again for the final day of our river expedition. Rafting the second portion of the river is even more thrilling as you experience a mixture of class III and class IV rapids, all the while surrounded by spectacular scenery.
You may stop to explore side streams that lead to striking waterfalls and pools with a natural waterslide that tempts you to jump right in.
Later on, a tasty midday meal of sandwiches, fruits and dessert will be served on an overturned raft along the water’s edge. The day ends with the triumph of having conquered one of the wildest and most scenic rivers in the world. At the river take-out, you can change into dry clothes at our private facilities before boarding your ground transfer to Bajos del Toro

Magical event first thing in the morning in celebration of your love by planting a tree. Leaving a positive mark in the midst of Costa Rica’s cloud forest in full communion with nature is uniquely rewarding and memorable. Each seedling is tagged with a commemorative card and photo updates are given periodically.
Then visit the rural community of Los Bajos Del Toro to get in touch with the farmer. Learn how to make and palm tortillas! This guided tour pays a visit to local orchid enthusiast, Don Martin Porras and his private garden followed by a visit to the local school, church, soccer field, and a fun stop at Doña Olga’s Pulpería (local store) where you can palm fresh tortillas and buy local traditional pastries.
After breakfast you will be transferred back to San Jose to board your flight to Manuel Antonio.
Manuel Antonio National Park, on Costa Rica’s central Pacific coast, encompasses rugged rainforest, white-sand beaches and coral reefs. It’s renowned for its vast diversity of tropical plants and wildlife, from three-toed sloths and endangered white-faced capuchin monkeys to hundreds of bird species. The park’s roughly 680 hectares are crossed with hiking trails, which meander from the coast up into the mountains. Rest of the day at leisure.

Take a leisurely hike with a highly trained, well-educated Costa Rican naturalist guide through our exotic, bio-diverse tropical rain forest preserved in our 34 year old Manuel Antonio National Park. See how many different kinds of flora and fauna you can spot just in the span of a 2 ½ hour nature walk or hike. Snacks are offered during the tour, and guest may remain in the park after wards.
This tour allows you to explore the wonders of the mangrove ecosystem. You will set out in a river called Paquita facing an island and float along the soft currents under a verdant forest canopy. Make sure you keep your eyes wide pen so you can spot the innumerable aviary species, snakes, ant eaters and white faced monkeys. While you silently observe this rich habitat your guide will offer explanations about the nature specimens found in this unique region. This tour takes you through the natural canals and provides an ideal opportunity to observe heron species, kingfishers, ospreys, frigots and other migratory birds. As you journey through the brackish waters you can catch glimpses of the island as you pass beneath tunnels made naturally from tree growths. As this tour takes you across the waters for approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes, lunch can be arranged before or after the trip. It does not require previous experience. The kayaks are available in 1 passenger and 2 passenger format.
Today you will have a private transfer to the coast on the remote and exclusive area of Uvita with stop in the famous Marino Ballena National Park. The park is part of Osa’s Conservation Area and it was officially declared as a Marine National Park in 1989. The park is named after the humpback whales that migrate from mid-July and October, and again in December through March from feeding and mating grounds in the north and south hemispheres to the warm tropical waters of Costa Rica.
In this tour you can see one of the most biologically diverse marine habitats in Costa Rica. From observing large pods of more than 100 bottle nose, spotted, common or spinner dolphins performing acrobatics to witnessing a humpback whale teach its baby to breach, this tour is for everyone to enjoy! After this wonderful visit we will continue our way to the villas.

The Corcovado National Park Day tour departs from Punta Uvita at 7:00 AM and arrives approximately 1" hour later at San Pedrillo Ranger Station, Corcovado National Park. Upon arrival you will prepare for two guided hikes along two different trails and observe beautiful flora and fauna. Each hike takes around 2 hours. During the hikes you will be able to see many mammals such as spider, howler, and white-faced monkeys, sloths, coatis, raccoons, and tapirs as well as a great variety of birds, plants, and trees with over one hundred years of existence and in danger of extinction. After the first hike, we serve a picnic lunch near the ranger station and then we begin the second trek. During boat transit you may observe whales, dolphins, turtles, marine birds and fantastic views of the southern pacific Osa coastline.
Full day at leisure to enjoy the facilities of this secluded place. Kura is not on the beach but perched remotely on the coastal ridge sloping five kilometers above the shoreline, just a 15 minute drive away from the main road. This position provides cool breezes, panoramic views of the ocean and deep jungle view to the east, making this a great isolated place to go for an unforgettable nontraditional honeymoon. For adventure and exploration, there are seven different pristine beaches, including a protected Marine Reserve, from which to choose.
