Off Site Activities

 Tortillas at Petatillo  Visitors can join onsite guides for an authentic Tico experience. This walking tour takes guests around the property and behind the scenes to Petatillo, home for most of our staff. The visitors will learn about Costa Rican customs and discover the meaning of the national emblems. They will learn how to make tortillas and savor them with a good cup of coffee or "agua dulce".It's easy being green  Learn about history, nature, and green practices all in one place. Visitors are taken behind the scenes and shown how being green can be easy! Visit the native plant nursery and butterfly farm, see the compost area, and learn how the hotel handles all its organic waste. In the recycling center see how to reduce waste and save energy; and lastly, discover key bits of Costa Rican history and facts about Quepos, as your visit comes alive in the museum.
